About Me

My name is Rosanna and I'm the hands and heart behind this cozy little nest. I live in Toronto with my husband and three daughters.
“Who knit you?”
This phrase from Eastern Canada means, Who are your parents?
I was knit by two hard-working Italian immigrant parents—my mum, a hairdresser, and my dad, a music teacher.
While I endured plenty of questionable haircuts, I cherished the lively community of supportive women who wove in and out of my days, all set to a soundtrack of classical and Italian music—sounds that still feel like home.

From a young age, I was either reading, drawing or sitting beside my mum getting lost in the art of knitting and crocheting. Over the years, I was surrounded by many wonderful women who shared their love for the craft.
I am truly passionate about Rosanna's Perch. Each piece I create carries a story—one that’s waiting to be shared.
When I’m not creating, you’ll find me on my yoga mat (sometimes upside down), lost in a great book, or soaking up time with my family by the lake.
Thank you for stopping by my perch. I hope you find something that speaks to you and becomes part of your own story.
